Knights of Columbus

The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic fraternal service organization founded in 1882 by Father Michael J. McGivney.  The Knights was established to support Catholic men and their families by providing insurance benefits, fostering community through charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism, and serving the Church and community. The organization engages in a wide range of activities such as disaster relief, support for needy families, promoting Catholic education, and supporting vulnerable populations. 

 

The St. Thomas Knights of Columbus Council #7020 supports a wide range of local organizations through funds raised at the KOC Store on Bayshore Avenue. Our Store is located on the corner of Bayshore Avenue and 6th
St South in Brigantine, NJ. We are open May through October Saturday mornings 8am -1:00pm.

Some of the local activities we support include:
• Forgotten Soldier Flags at Hanneman Park
• Shoulder to Shoulder program
• Brians Walk
• South Jersey Cancer Fund
• Humane Society of Atlantic County

Children’s Activities
• Essay Contest
• Spelling Bee
• Soccer Challenge
• Catholic School Grant
• Free Throw Contest

The Knights is about fellowship and charity to the needy in our community. Our Council 7020 is the most active in South Jersey. 

There is a meeting the first Tuesday of each month in St. Philip Hall. New candidates for membership are always welcome.
